During my weekly phone call home to the Padres, everyone seemed excited about the thriving garden out back, which I obviously haven’t seen considering I’ve been gone for 9 weeks. This morning, however, I found an email from my dad attached with photos of the garden. We have corn, tomatoes, and hot peppers. Can’t wait to see these vegetables in the flesh in 3 weeks!
